Mississippi

Let me just say that in researching Meridian, I think I am in love. This town looks great!

First of all, I love the south. I love the accent, the food, the eccentricities, the food, the southern hospitality, the weather... and did I mention the food?

Meridian is 185 from New Orleans.

I told Marty that if they don't end up sending us there we might just have to put in for a transfer ourselves.

I have a call in to my friend Debbi, who is from Mississippi. She has told me stories of giant bugs and cooking everything with bacon grease, but I want to know more.

Mississippi is one of the fattest and poorest states, so we would be skinny rich people. Woohoo!

The whole being called a Yankee for the rest of my life thing would get old, I'm sure.

Norman Ok? Not so much. The tornado average is something like 364% the national average, and they get snow. Thanks but no thanks.
